This 9-Year-Old Prodigy Has Graduated High School and Is Heading to University to Become an Astrophysicist!

David Balogun is a real little prodigy: at only 9 years old, he has graduated from high school and is preparing to enter university to become an astrophysicist.

In Pennsylvania, David Balogun is no ordinary child as he possesses exceptional intellectual abilities.

The young boy began school in 2020 by taking online courses. He enrolled just before the COVID-19 pandemic and three years later, he graduated from high school.

“He’s a 9-year-old child with a brain that can grasp many concepts beyond his age, and sometimes beyond my own understanding,” David’s mother stated.

He Graduates High School at 9

By graduating, David has become one of the youngest high school graduates of all time. In addition to having great intellectual abilities, the young boy enjoys playing the piano, practicing martial arts, building robots, and watching astronomy and physiology videos on the internet.

“As my mother says, my favorite subject is learning new things,” David asserted. “Whether it’s art, math, science, English, or social studies, I’ll be happy to learn something new.”

He Dreams of Becoming an Astrophysicist

In his academic subjects, David particularly enjoys studying science, computer programming, and nuclear chemistry. Going forward, the young boy dreams of becoming an astrophysicist.

“I want to be an astrophysicist, and I want to study black holes and supernovas,” he declared.

Currently, his parents are evaluating David’s university prospects. Since the child is still young, they do not want him to go too far from home, while looking for a program that will allow him to thrive.
