The women’s tennis team is currently sitting at a 1-0 conference record for the season. They are off to a fantastic start.

Amanda Korinihona, graduate assistant tennis coach, shared that the teams word for the season is, “Believe.” She also stated, “The teams chemistry is great, the tennis skill level is almost the same for every line. In doubles, we’ve switched partners twice because the girls are capable of playing with a different partner in a different line.”

Mariah Bartlett, senior tennis player, shared that her favorite part of the season so far has been beating one of their GAC rivals, Harding University.

The Reddies came out of doubles that match winning only 1 of 3 matches, but prevailed by dominating 5 out of their 6 singles matches. Their hard work in singles gave them a 6-3 win.

The Reddies conference season has just begun, so there’s still time to go out and show them some support.
