President Bush is a man on a mission — a mission that has brought the United States to the brink of war. What many Americans should be asking though is why? The many loose ends that still exist with al Qaeda should be enough to show the president that starting another war is not something that will be in the best interest of this country. Republicans are justifying the war by saying that if Iraq goes unnoticed it will flare up and become a major international problem. Well, guess what GOP leaders, Osama bin Laden is already a major international problem.

Shortly after the Sept. 11 attacks, the president promised this country that he would take care of him. That has yet to happen. Currently, U.S. forces are gauging their readiness for a possible attack against Iraq. According to CNN.com, the U.S. is “secretly” ascertaining the willingness of other nations to contribute to the war. It is inevitable that the U.S. will be involved in another conflict with Iraq.

The U.S. has already sent a formal request to the British government requesting assistance in case of a possible attack on Baghdad. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that if a baker is asking for a warm oven, he is about to bake a cake.
