The WNBA finals have been a spectacle to watch between the Las Vegas Aces who have the current MVP player A’ja Wilson and the Seattle Storm who have their dynamic duo Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart leading them. The Storm currently has a 2-0 lead and could clinch another championship in Game 3 on October 7th.

Seattle won the first game by 13 points with Breanna Stewart filling the stat chart by tallying 37 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 blocks all while playing 37 minutes out of 40 minutes. She is currently the franchise leader in points scored in the Finals. Sue Bird also made the headlines being ranked the 1st All-Time in assists in a playoff and Finals game when she recorded 16 assists in game one.

They also won the second game by 13 points as well with Sue Bird being the player of the game with a double-double in points and assists. The Seattle Storm team as a whole reached a new milestone with 33 assists which makes a WNBA Finals Record. Sue Bird also hit the 300-career playoff assists mark in the win.

Game 2 was a team scoring effort win as all five of the starters recorded double-digit points. Both Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart have put up unbelievable numbers in their outstanding performances in the Finals thus far. On top of all the records that Sue Bird has set, she has managed to have the most popular selling jersey in the league. Outside of the playoffs, Breanna Stewart was named on the ALL-WNBA First team.
