Break-in suspect apprehended by HSUPD

Before 8:00 a.m. this morning, students received an alert that HSU police are searching for a break-in suspect. Continue for full message with suspect description.

HSU Alert: HSU police are seeking suspect in break-in. White male, 5’5″, 21, white shirt, blue jeans, dark cap, and handcuffed in front. If seen, call 911.

Shortly after 9:00 a.m., students received a second alert that the suspect was apprehended.

HSU Alert: The breaking and entering suspect has been apprehended by HSUPD and is in custody.

HSU police are located on campus at 805 North 12th Street (corner of Huddleston and 12th Streets). University police officers are on duty 24 hours a day and can be reached by dialing 870-230-5098 or 911 for emergencies. Visit hsu.edu for more information.
