The Henderson State University Fine Arts Department is proud to present DEVOLVE by our BFA digital design graduate, Amanda Cordell.

Amanda Cordell came to Henderson State University in 2016 from Benton, Arkansas. While enrolled at HSU, she had studied under the tutelage of Kasten Searles, Margo Duvall, and Kathrine Strause. DEVOLVE, is a culmination of these studies in pen & ink, illustration, and digital design.

“Devolve” is a 3D interactive poster gallery that focuses on the breakdown of a psychopath. The leap that is taken from an innocent child to a full-blown serial killer is unknown, but what is it exactly that makes them start to devolve?

There will be no reception for DEVOLVE, but the show is scheduled to be open August 21st through the 27th of this year. The student gallery is located on the second floor of the Henderson State University Huie Library and the exhibit will be open to the public free of charge.
