Reynolds Science Center Reopens Tuesday, Oct. 2019, according to a report from Tina Hall, Henderson’s Associate Vice President of Marketing and Communications. The building now meets all Environmental Protection Agency recommendations according to third party testing. Classes in Reynolds 303 will meet in alternate locations listed below. Students should adhere to information from their instructors regarding any other class changes.

Reynolds had previously been closed due to a chemical spill in the third floor laboratories that was reported on Oct. 8 by a Henderson faculty member. Air quality testing revealed the spill was from benzyl chloride, a chemical associated with meth production. Students and faculty members were since displaced, and all lab classes were cancelled.

The Oracle will be following any updates on the investigation of the chemical spill.
