I wrote a story on influenza, better known as the flu. In my story, I made sure to get the point across of how important it is to take care of yourself, and that the flu is nothing to mess with. I gave some pointers on how to prevent the flu, besides the vaccine of course. I thought it was really important to do a story on this because many people do not realize that the most wonderful time of the year – the Christmas season is also the worst time, flu season.  I took advantage of being in the Reddie Media Department to educate others about influenza because I think a main problem is people are uneducated about it.
