Tuesday, Oct. 23 was family science night at Henderson State University. The event was held in the Reynolds science center. Families and kids were welcomed to join in the various activities held around the building. There were classrooms throughout Reynolds filled with kids and adults making crafts and other things.

Each classroom was dedicated to a certain activity. Activities included genes in a bottle, physics, chemistry, robotics, and more. In each room, there was typically an activity or craft that kids could make that also educated them about the subject.

One activity they had was robotics, kids and adults could come in and watch them put together a robot and explain how everything works. They decorated one of the robots very festively and had a skull and black cape on it.

The event also had brownies set out if anyone got hungry. This activity was something the kids and adults could both enjoy. Overall it was a success.
