Haven Hughes- Reddie To Serve

 

I did a story over Henderson State’s “Reddie To Serve” day. Reddie To Serve was held on September 29th, of this year. In my story I told about how Reddie To Serve is a day full of many opportunities to give back to our community by service. I also told about how Reddie To Serve mainly focuses on people in our community that need help such as disabled, seniors, single parent homes, and non profit organizations. I listed the various things that volunteers do such as yard work, cleaning, and general labor projects as well as litter pick up. I think that this event brings everyone together to the realization of the need to assist one another, in a fun and unique way. Last, I added the next Reddie To Serve date, which is set for April 13th, of 2019.
