‘Just keep running’: Reddies push record to 13-2(2-0)

In set 1, the Evangels got off to a fast start and led the game 4-0 before Henderson called a timeout to regroup. Following the timeout, the Reddies got on the scoreboard and then went on a 10-2 run. MACU fought back and tied the game at 12. A diving save by Gigi Garramone moved momentum to the side of Henderson, who created a lead of 20-12. The Evangels refused to go away however and brought the score within three points at 21-18. The Reddies kept their opponent at bay and went on to win 25-19. 

Set 2 was dominated by the Reddies. The set was tied at 3 then Henderson put the game away with a 17-3 run. Leading 20-6, the Reddies put the game away and went on to win by a score of 25-9. Karlie Greene had 7 kills in the set. 

Henderson started set 3 with a 5-1 advantage, later after a 7-5 lead the Reddies took control of the game and went on a 7-0 run. Though the Evangels didn’t go away, the lead proved to be insurmountable and the Reddies went on to win 25-16, sweeping the event
