The Henderson State Reddie volleyball team has won 12 games in a row including their first game in the conference, Outside Hitter Courtney Bolf is a big part of that. After having an incredible weekend at the Union invitational, she was voted Hero of the week.

This season Courtney has had a great season so far with 164 kills and 157 digs through the first 15 games of the season. Winning awards and being recognized for your accomplishments is always a special moment, for Courtney it was no different.

“It was a really big accomplishment, I called my mom and told her and she told the family. It was really nice to see how much my family and the community supported me.” Bolf said.

Courtney has high goals for herself this season, she wants to reach 1000 kills and get GAC player of the week at least once.

She also wants to get First team All-Conference. Staying focused is not something that is hard for Bolf.

“I love the game and I know what I want to accomplish in the sport. I know to reach my goals I have to work hard.” Courtney said. Her teammates respect is something that is important to her as well.

“I hope that they view me as a leader and know they can come talk to me about anything, not just volleyball” Courtney explained. The season is really just getting started but it is safe to say that big things are in store for Volleyball team and for Courtney.
